Selected Projects

 Hi, I’m Wiebke!

I am an enthusiastic urban designer and researcher with a background in carpentry and architecture. Analytical by nature and driven by curiosity, I explore the built environment through a feminist lens that understands care as an active, political practice, central to improving both human and ecological well-being.

I use diverse methods to uncover socio-spatial patterns and examine how space both shapes and is shaped by society. This helps me identify the underlying needs at the core of my design work. I enjoy combining qualitative, eye-level observations with systems thinking and scientific approaches, which allows me to work across scales and embed complexity within lived experience.

At the same time, making that complexity accessible and engaging to different user groups is central to my projects, because the people who inhabit space must be at the heart of its creation.
