Golden Room urban anomalies

How much is the city worth?
While a square meter of public space used for parking costs only a few euros per month, housing prices continue to rise drastically. To highlight this stark contrast, we created a public installation that placed these spatial uses in direct relation to market values. The project was accompanied by a post on WG Gesucht, the popular housing platform, advertising the parking spot as if it were a shared flat. Through this ironic gesture, we questioned how space is valued, who it remains accessible to, and how everyday urban infrastructure reflects broader systemic priorities.
